Boarders and Students at Brandywine spend a lot of time enjoying their horses and the outdoors by participating in trail rides at various locations in the area. When requested, Melissa trailers horses and riders to the Natchez Trace Parkway Horse Trails. These trails are located within 10 minutes of our farm, and cover a 22 mile area just west of the Ross Barnett Reservoir. Additionally, riders and horses from the farm occasionally travel to Whitworth Farm, in Pickens, MS, to enjoy a day of trail riding on the Farm's trails and pastures. Whitworth Farm is main venue of the Chula Homa Hunt, and the farm is owned by a family who boards at Brandwine. Whitworth encompasses several thousand acres, and allows riders to experience various types of terrain and trails. |
